How does K9-Longevity work?
K9-Longevity works on an all natural approach. Growth Hormone is secreted by the pituitary gland in large amounts until full adult growth has occurred. GH secretion is then reduced to a low level and growth stops. However, continued small amounts of GH are needed to promote repair and healing of all the tissues. As aging occurs, the release of this small amount of GH is further inhibited by somatostatin, a negative feedback hormone. The result is less ability to repair and renew tissues, in other words - AGING. The same applies to dogs as well as humans.
